Message from the Coaches

Dear Ludlowe Players, Parents & Family,

From the bottom of my heart, thank for a tremendous season. Many of you have spent this season cleaning uniforms, packing endless snacks, cheering on the sidelines and supporting your wonderful daughters. Thank you for your unceasing support and commitment to our ever growing program. Thank you especially for your support of our coaching staff, philosophy and methods. We simply couldn’t have done it without you.

Though our season ended Thursday, our Falcons fought hard to the end. What a game. I am immensely proud of the fight and pride we displayed. As the Darien head coach so eloquently said “Clearly Ludlowe wanted it more than us and they out-played us in the first half.”

This year has been a year of firsts. This has been Coach Mastera, Coach Kelly and Coach Maribeth’s first season at Ludlowe!  For the first time in program history the Falcons took down the Greenwich Cardinals. For the first time in 6 years the Falcons made it to the Class L State Quarterfinals. What a year!

Our Ludlowe program this year had a record number of 72 participants and we were able to field (3) competitive teams. I am so encouraged by the continued growth of this program and am excited about what next year has in store. Thank you for being part of Ludlowe Family - looking forward to celebrating our program accomplishments and our amazing seniors on June 11th.

Kindly,

Amanda Mastera

Erin Sweeney

Kelly Babstock
